An idea for a second breakfast for school – how to encourage your child to abandon sweets in favor of a whole-wheat

An extremely important meal, whichóry provides children with the energy they need during the day, is the second breakfast. Unfortunately, it is often replaced with candy bars and cookies, after which theóre the youngest willingly reach for it at every opportunity. If we want our toddler to eat a second breakfast with appetite, it is worth replacing boring sandwiches with creative and healthy snacks.

Second breakfast is an extremely important part of every child's daily menu – allows him to function properly at school throughout the long day. Traditional sandwiches, whichóre usually packed in a backpackóIn our pupilsów, however, they are often not eaten and end up in the trash. Instead of eating a wholesome meal, children stuff themselves with sweets. To change this, all you need to do is enrich the menu with tasty, healthy and inviting-looking treats thatóThe youngest will eat them with appetite. If we equip the toddler with the right container and special child-safe plastic cutlery, then for the second breakfast for school will be móheads take whatever… tummy craves.

Mini tortillas with turkey and pineapple

  • 1 wheat tortilla pancake (e.g. Sandra brand)
  • 2 slices of canned pineapple (e.g. Sandra brand)
  • 2 tablespoons of canned corn (e.g. Sandra brand)
  • 40 g of turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning
  • 1 slice of ¿óof cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • handful of lamb's lettuce
  • sól and pepper

Cut the meat into smaller pieces and season with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Then fry them in a heated pan. Put the prepared meat, pineapple cut into small pieces, corn and mix everything into a bowl. Spread the tortilla with ketchup, place a slice of cheese on it żólt, layer the stuffing with turkey and add a handful of lamb's lettuce. Wrap it tightly and bake it for about 10 minutes in the oven. Cut the prepared tortilla into pół.

Pancakes with vanilla cheese and fruit

 

  • 3 canned peaches (e.g. Sandra brand)
  • 1 slice of canned pineapple (e.g. Sandra brand)
  • 6 tablespoons of vanilla homogenized cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ a glass of flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ½ glass of water
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Crack eggs into a bowl, add flour, milk, water and a pinch of salt. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth. Then spread the resulting mixture on a hot pan and fry two pancakes from it. Top the finished pancakes with a few large spoonfuls of vanilla cheese, pineapple cut into small pieces and peaches. Sprinkle the pancakes with cinnamon and fold over pół.
